This guide will have the places to hunt, and the monsters to kill based on your class and level. It is made based on FeelRO however it should fit any server that are low to mid rate.

Novice: Job 1-10 Equip any starting equipment and head to the leveling map of your choice.

Locations:

1) FeelRO Custom Starting Arena:

Kill the porings in the arena. If you are going to be a caster class pump dex and don’t touch agi or str,
this will save you a reset. If you are going melee distribute evenly dex, str, and agi. Then walk out the warp and change class at the job changer.

2) Payon Field 3: Head to the Map West of Alberta

Pupa are non aggressive, and never retaliate. Perfect for the flailing level 1 character. Make sure you have some sort of equipment before moving on to something that can retaliate.

When you’re ready try Porings and Lunatics. Have Potions on your hotkeys, or flywing.

Willows are also good for experience.
Once your Job Levels are maxed change class.

See the ratemyserver class quest section for details on how to change class.

http://ratemyserver.net/quest_db.php?type=60000

Mage:

Go to payon dungeon with some Novice Pots (Free) and kill the skeletons there. At first you will have to use your weapon, like a novice.

Payon Dungeon Floor 1:
Kill them until you have soulstrike and can equip a wand. Distribute your stats equally into int and dex. Now kill Zombies, Poporings, and the Familiars too.
When the exp seems slow, flywing past the next level and get to level 3 Payon Dungeon. Use soul strike and firebolt on the Munaks and the Bonguns.
Payon Dungeon Floor 3:
Once you have fire bolt 5-10 and 50 int you can go to Geographers or Mi Gao.
Einbroch Field, North of Einbroch Town:
Louyang Field, South of Louyang Town:
Change job and move to Wizard or Sage section of the guide.

See the ratemyserver class quest section for details on how to change class.

http://ratemyserver.net/quest_db.php?type=60000

Wizard:

Once you job change and get a few job levels make sure to get Jupitel Thunder. When you have it head to Alligators. One map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
Comodo Field, 2 Maps East of Comodo Town:
When you job level take quagmire. Once you have Quag 3 and Juptiel Thunder 5 You’re ready for seals.
Comodo Beach Dungeon Warp:
OR
You make some friends by now and one of them is a Bard or Priest. Party with them in ice dungeon killing Siromas.
Ice Dungeon Floor 1:
Once Seals/Siromas get easy go to Ice Dungeon 3 with Quag JT and LOV (Lord of Vermillion). Poem of Bragi and Orleans Robe makes it easier. Kill the Ice Titans.
Ice Dungeon Floor 3:

Monsters to Avoid: Gazeti (A Priest can cast pnuema to negate the Gazeti’s Attacks)
When you get to 89+ Try to find a friendly person to party with or leech from. It really does help with a PvM class. Cursed Abbey, also known as Nameless is great party leveling. Stormgust, Quagmire, and Jupitel Thunder are great for Mob control.

Cursed Abbey Dungeon Floor 1: Ghoul Zombie Slaughter

Ragged Zombie Hell Poodle Banshee

Flame Skull

See Transcending Section for further details.

Sage:

Now that you’ve changed jobs make sure you have lightning bolt 3-5, and a descent amount of dex. Now head to Alligators for some job levels. One map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
Comodo Field, 2 Maps East of Comodo Town:
Try to get Free cast maxed, once you feel confident head to the Seals or Siromas.
Comodo Beach Dungeon Warp:

OR

Ice Dungeon Floor 1:
Try to find a friendly priest and tank then head to Ice dungeon level 3 to kill ice titans.
Ice Dungeon Floor 3:

Monsters to Avoid: Gazeti (A Priest can cast pnuema to negate the Gazeti’s Attacks)

You could also join that priest in Anubis; keeping the other mobs (Pasana, Minos, etc) killed with Cold bolt.
Sphinx Floor 4 or 5:
Sages have the option of using firebolt and soul strike in Cursed Abbey Dungeon. There are always large parties happening there; making it easy for any class to level.

Cursed Abbey Dungeon Floor 1: Ghoul Zombie Slaughter

Ragged Zombie Hell Poodle Banshee

Flame Skull

When you get to 89+ Try to find a friendly person to party with or leech from. It’s much faster…

See Transcending Section for further details.

Thief:

Go to payon dungeon with some Novice Pots (Free) and kill the skeletons there.
Payon Dungeon Floor 1:
Kill them until you have dodge maxed, equal agi and str remainder in dex, and can equip a Stilleto or better. Now kill Zombies, Poporings, and the Familiars too.
When the exp seems slow flywing past the next level and get to level 3 Payon Dungeon.
Payon Dungeon Floor 3:
Max agi for survival but make sure to spare some in str for damage and dex to keep hitting. If you get bored you could always kill Orcs.

Use the FeelRO Warper to Orc dungeon warp and walk up through the first portal, then outside to the geffen field map.

For those that have to walk start in Geffen Town. Head out the west portal. Walk South 2 maps until /where says Geffen Field 14, take the east portal. I suggest bringing Flywings to teleport through Geffen 14, there are High Orcs which are too strong for your level.
Geffen Field 10: Orc Baby, Orc Warrior, and Orc Lady

Monsters to Avoid: Orc Lord

You can also use envenom on Metallings and kill efficiently.
North of Lighthalzen Town:
If you have some money to spare, or are lucky to have a nice friend, use a fireblend and pump int and dex. Put the Firebolt skill on your hotkeys and you’re good to level like a mage at Mi Gao or Geographers.
Einbroch Field, North of Einbroch Town:
Louyang Field, South of Louyang Town:
Once you change jobs move to the Assassin or Rogue section as appropriate.

See the ratemyserver class quest section for details on how to change class.

http://ratemyserver.net/quest_db.php?type=60000

Assassin:

Now head to Alligators for some job levels. One map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
Comodo Field, 2 Maps East of Comodo Town:
Once you have hide and grimtooth head to Seals. Collect 3 seals the first time. When they are lined up on one spot hide. You can only use grimtooth while hiding. Immediately start spamming them with grimtooth until they die. Then “mob” larger amounts of seals as you get more confident.
Comodo Beach Dungeon Warp:
Once you catch the technique of mob + grimtooth = fast exp head to Venatus. They can be found in Juperos.
Anolians are worth more experience then seals. If you don’t have a wind weapon they aren’t worth the time to kill, it’d be faster killing a seal with neutral damage then killing an anolian. If you have wind type weapon Anolians are an option.
Comodo Field, 1 Map east of Alligators:
You make good money at both seals and venatus. You also have the option to leech others for money if you’re good enough. Then use that money for a leech at 89+ to speed things up.

If you get bored with solo leveling, try visiting Cursed Abbey Dungeon. There are always large parties happening there; making it easy for any class to level. Ask for aspersio from the priest in your party to deal more damage.

Dancer:

What I like about dancers is that soon they will transcend and not be so naked. LOL I jest, but really it’s pretty fast to trans a gypsy. Use dex, agi, and double strafe. If you want to party with others Fortune’s Kiss increases criticals and Please Don’t Forget Me slows monsters dramatically. Head to Alligators on the chance to get a card while you level a bit first. Take wind arrows. You can find them one map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
One benefit-sad but true-is that dancer is female only class. Therefore, dancers are very easy to find a leech for and usually for free. Once you’re 89+ just talk to people, someone will leech you.

For the more self reliant Dancer: Hunt Pasana Card, Composite Bow [4] with 2 Vadon Cards and 2 Peco Peco Egg Cards, Jakk Card. Use many flywings, skill, and patience… You can solo kill Kasa in Thor as a high level dancer. Make sure to avoid everything else. Imps appear heamless, but cost alot to kill for very little exp.

Thor Dungeon

Use Bash and Magnum Break for max damage. Max agi for survival but make sure to spare some in str for damage and dex to keep hitting. If you get bored you could always kill Orcs. Use the Orc dungeon warp and walk up through the first portal, then outside to the geffen field map.

For those that have to walk start in Geffen Town. Head out the west portal. Walk South 2 maps until /where says Geffen Field 14, take the east portal. I suggest bringing Flywings to teleport through Geffen 14, there are High Orcs which are too strong for your level.
If you have a wind sword use it (if you don’t have elemental swords try to save for them). You find them one map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
You also have the option to use Grand Cross to level. This would require high vit and int (make sure vit is higher then int) and the rest in dex for cast time. Kill them until you have heal 5 atleast, max int remainder in dex and vit, and can equip a wand. Now kill Zombies, and the Familiars too (Holy Light). Poporings are a pain for acos to kill, avoid them.
Do NOT try to kill poporings as an aco, avoid these:
When the exp seems slow flywing past the next level and get to level 3 Payon Dungeon. Use heal 10 and /ns to kill them.
OR
Go to Amatsu Dungeon once you have Heal 10 and Pneuma. Kill the Firelock Soldiers with /ns and heal.
Once it gets really slow and you are close to job change you can try Evil Druids, though it may be too tough. I suggest memoing outside the ED entrance, for a direct warp.
Now that you have turn undead, teleport to level 4 of sphinx and buff yourself completely. Silence the Anubis and then use turn undead on him until it one hit kills him. Try to get Gloria also. Luck increases the chance of max turn undead damage. Cast Safetywall on your feet to prevent melee attacks. Items like Phen Card and Orleans Robe give uninterruptable cast time. This can be useful for the TU Priest. Demi Human Reducers, and vit will help you survive Sonic Blow.
Now it’s time to reset your character. Go into a Combo build using agi, dex, and str. Make sure to take Iron Hand 5, Call Spirits 5, and Dodge 5 to open up the rest of the Combo skills. Head to Alligators on the chance to get a card while you level a bit first and get used to then new build. Use a wind fist (if you don’t have elemental fists try to save for them). There is another technique used to level monks. Take high str, dex, and tuck the rest into int. Memo the sleepers map. Remember that occult impaction costs one sphere so always have spheres up. Teleport through the map and use Occult Impaction to kill solo sleepers; heck hotkey some flywings so it’s no delay and costs no sp.

To get there to memo: warp to Abyss Lake Dungeon and walk up out the portal where you spawn, then teleport 2 maps left of the Abyss. It will say Yuno 6 if you type in /where.

Yuno Field 6:
Kill them until the experience is somewhat slow. Use equal agi and str remainder in dex, and can equip a Stilleto or better. Now kill Zombies, Poporings, and the Familiars too.
When the exp seems slow flywing past the next level and get to level 3 Payon Dungeon.
Payon Dungeon Floor 3:
Use Cart Rev and Mammonite for max damage.

Geffen Field 10: Orc Baby, Orc Warrior, and Orc Lady

You can also use Cart Rev on Metallings and kill pretty fast.
If you have some money to spare or are lucky to have a nice friend borrow a fireblend and pump int and dex. Put the Firebolt skill on your hotkeys and you’re good to level like a mage at Mi Gao or Geographers.
Einbroch Field, North of Einbroch Town:

Once you have maxed your job levels change class to either Blacksmith or Alchemist.

See the ratemyserver class quest section for details on how to change class.

Alchemist:

Now that you FINALLY got to alchemist you have a huge advantage-once you job level and save for an embryo. You get a little afk worker called a homunculus. For now use an agi str with the change in dex to get a few job levels. If you own/borrow a fireblend keep using that (int dex) to gain your job levels. If you have don’t have fireblend head to Alligators in the hopes of getting ygg seeds or even a card while leveing. One map north of the Comodo Beach Dungeon warp.
Comodo Field, 2 Maps East of Comodo Town:
Once you have Rest 1, and Call Homunculus 1, and Resurrect Hom 1 it’s worth it to do the hom quest.

Homunculus Leveling
Follow this link for the Homun Quest walkthrough on RMS:
Once you’ve done all that I’m sure you’re quite worn out. Take a breather. <3 Grats on getting a Homun!! What did you name it?!? Oh yeah… to level your homun take it to kill some porings at first. If you’re playing FeelRO, Use the command @pitchhom <#> on your “alt M” hotkeys. Also tank for your hom for a while and feed it at 11 to 24 hunger. I recommend a high agi remaining into int and dex type of build to tank. Once your homunculus is strong enough you can just hang in a spot and feed it while watching TV. Make sure to observe your hom at all times, do not go AFK this is now illegal is most servers (yay~! <3). The recipients Vit and the alchemist’s Int are what effect potion pitch. If you want stronger potions pump Int and Vit (for when you pitch yourself).

Head to Payon dungeon and tank the Skeletons for your homun.

Kill them until the experience is somewhat slow. Now kill the Zombies, Poporings, and Familiars.
When the exp seems slow again flywing past the next level and get to level 3 Payon Dungeon. Be ready with potions at first.

Metallings are easy to kill for the exp they give. As a homun strip doesn’t effect them, so one of the Metalling’s toughest abilities is negated.
North of Lighthalzen Town:
Byalan Dugeon can be used to farm cards and level your homunculus. Head past the first level, and straight to Undersea tunnel 2. Use Cart Rev for mobbing and knockback. Vadons, Kukre, and Hydra are valuable and useful cards.
Byalan Dungeon Floor 2: Vadon Kukre Hydra
If you can’t stand the slow slow exp then just head to the next level and kill the Obeaunes.
Byalan Dungeon Floor 3:
Sell the witherless roses with overcharge and make lots of money. Then buy a Wind weapon and head to Byalan 4 to hunt Marcs.
Once your homunculus gets strong and the exp is slow try heading to some tougher dungeons to level both you and your Homunculus at once.

Focusing on Alchemist:
Take your homunculus with you to Niffleheim Town and kill there. KEEP FABRICS! You will need them. Having a slave priest account can help alot. Buffs and Aspersio make a big difference. Avoid The Loli Ruri and Bloody Murderer.
Niffleheim town:
Mob these monsters: Gibbet Dullahan Disguise Quve Lude Hylozoist / Heirozoist
When you get bored or the exp isn’t as good try out Racheal Dungeon. It has direct warp. Use a neutral weapon and a tanking build. Hide (Smokie Card) Clip will help you live longer and avoid the magic attacks. Take Panacea or green pots to get rid of silence.
Rachael Dungeon Floor 1: Isilla and Vanberk
To make Potions use dex and luck, blue pot pitch is plenty reason to bring an alchemist along and leech that person. Partying with others will be your fastest avenue to leveling. A group party in Ice Dungeon 3 or Abbey is easy to find.
Or use the same technique in High Orcs. To get there go to Orc dungeon walk up through the first portal all the way to the outside. Once on the outside map head to the left hand portal. Have flywings hotkeyed just in case you see Orc Hero.

For those that have to walk start in Geffen Town. Head out the west portal. Walk South 2 maps.

TELEPORT FROM: Orc Hero If you want to be nice tell a friendly Champ where he is.

Blacksmith:

Thank goodness you’re a smith at last! Where to level you ask? First work on saving the materials/enough zeni to buy an elemental weapon, specifically wind.
Byalan Dungeon is a great place to farm useful cards, and items that sell for alot. Using an agi/str rest dex build (some vit to live if you like) go for the buff type skills first to help you level. Also use Cart Rev for mobbing and knockback.
Head past the first level, and straight to Undersea tunnel 2. Vadons, Kukre, and Hydra are valuable and useful cards.
Byalan Dungeon Floor 2: Vadon Kukre Hydra
If you can’t stand the slow slow exp then just head to the next level and kill the Obeaunes.
Byalan Dungeon Floor 3: [img]http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii236/SonjaR13/Obeaune.gif[/im g]
Sell the witherless roses with overcharge and make lots of money. Then buy a Wind swordmace and head to Byalan 4 to hunt Marcs. Marc Card is highly valuable, and Marcs are also good experience.
Byalan Floor 4:
If the exp gets slow or you get a card head to seals.
Comodo Beach Dungeon Warp:
You can level in Nifflehiem with a Holy weapon.
Monsters to avoid: Bloody Murderer, Loli Ruri
When you get bored or the exp isn’t as good try out Racheal Dungeon. It has direct warp. Use a neutral weapon and a tanking build. Hide (Smokie Card) Clip will help you live longer and avoid the magic attacks. Take Panacea or green pots to get rid of silence.
Rachael Dungeon Floor 1: Isilla and Vanberk

Once you’re 89+ try to find a leech or large party, it’s just faster. There are often large parties at Cursed Abbey (Nameless).

Cursed Abbey Dungeon Floor 1: Ghoul Zombie Slaughter

Dex high for a good Hit and damage, Agi high to improve their elusive and ASPD, Vit median for reasonable points of life and good luck for a median rate of Critics (With a Cyclone Soldiers with two skeletons, you get to 41% of Crit ). I confess that this is my favorite.

Okay, well to begin, my name is Laurie and I’ll be your tutor for the remainder of this little helpbook. I won’t be divulging complete character builds (stats OR skills) and I won’t be giving you an equipment list that you need. That’s for lazy people. All this guide will contain is a little basic knowledge that should help you along your way to becoming a better Priest.

First of all, and my friends, I cannot stress this point enough. Forget your party members. Now, after reading that, you’re probably sitting there thinking, “Well, this guy obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” in which case I simply ask; what good is a healer if the healer is dead? So the name of the game is to keep yourself alive. YOU take priority. You are the Captain, the King and the Queen. You are the life of everyone else in your party, so don’t go acting reckless until you’ve much more experience in handling yourself.

Second, and this might seem a tad contradictive to the first point, Be in the thick of the fight. All I mean by this, is that if you’re standing too far back, then you can’t help the people at the front. I DON’T mean run up and attack things (unless you’re a battle Priest, of which I have incredibly limited experience with) because you’ll probably just die.

Third, Always look to the right. See those symbols on the right of the screen? Those are your positive effects (buffs) and your negative effects (de-buffs). If you make sure to always buff up your party members at the same time as yourself, you’ll have a good idea when they need re-buffing too.

Fourth, Don’t forget your bling. And by bling, I mean your blue gemstones. Now for those new players, I’ll explain. Blue Gemstones are an item that is important for Priests, as it is required for Resurrection, Sanctuary, Safety Wall (which is essentially useless really, unless you’re being crazy and using Magnus) and Magnus Excorcismus. Blue Gemstones are your lifeblood.

Fifth, disregard that last sentence. I hope you like Honey. Honey, children. That and Grape Juice. Get to know it. Cherish it, because you will be using a hell of a lot of it. They both restore SP (what is needed for skill use) and in the case of Honey, some hp as well. You could also use Royal Jelly, which has the added benefit of curing nasty status effects like Blind.

Sixth, and this is as much attribute advice I’ll be giving you, Needs moar smartypantness. Yes indeed, intelligence is the main prerequisite to a helpful support Priest. Intelligence determines Magical Attack intensity (which directly affects the strength of your Holy Light and Magnus Excorcismus) and Magical Defense. Oh, also Dexterity is a helpful idea if you plan on using any cast time skills, such as Magnus, Increase Agility, Turn Undead or Resurrection (below level 4).

So, that’s all folks. All you need to become a competent Priest is contained within the text above. To become a great Priest, you need to develop your own style. Using someone else’s playing style could be called stagnation. Which is why there was general shock and outrage at the first person to create the template which is now known as “Battle Priest”. So, follow my tips if you wish, if not, that’s okay. I’m just here to offer advice. <3

Your very helpful (and incredibly handsome) Priestalicious friend, Laurie.

Disclaimer : This guide is for those who would like to to level a monk and not feel like ‘grinding’ endlessly on a single map. The idea of this build is that you can progress to 99(and trans) at a decent rate, yet still enjoy yourself. Also, this build has no combo skills, so if u wish to make a combo monk, there are other guides that will fit your needs more than this one would. This guide is written with low rate servers in mind. Many of the prices and suggested gears maybe much different on mid/high rate servers.

Not that it matters, but this is the first guide I have written. Any advice on how I can improve this guide is appreciated.

- NOVICE -

Beginning stats:

str – 9
agi – 9
dex – 9
vit – 1
int – 1
luk - 1

Leveling:

Spend the few minutes inside the novice area and get to job 10 before u leave. While here, get 10 dex and 20str. After this point, go change to an acolyte. If u take the test and get acolyte u will be just south of the priest who starts the quest. To get acolyte as your suggested job, answer the questions as a do-gooder nice guy who thinks of the past and is a public servant. If u get a different suggested job, just tell him u want to be an acolyte, and he will put u where u need to be anyways.

Job change:

From this point, after you talk to the priest, he will give u 3 possible NPCs to go talk to.

The first map is 1 map north of morroc, in the top left corner of the map.

The 2nd possibility would be 1 map north, 2 maps west of Prontera (actually 2 maps north with the WoE castle map above pront) around the center of the map near the pool of water.

The third possibility is 1 map east, 1 map north, then 1 more map east of pront, right at the exit to the next map east (which would be where you will go later to change to monk)

Note: Once you visit this NPC, THAT becomes your new save point, so once u get back to town, set up a new save point or you could find yourself back there when u die or use a b-wing.

After talking to the NPC, go back to the first priest u talked to in the church, who will change you to an acolyte.

- ACOLYTE -

1x/1 Stats:

str – 20
agi – 9
dex – 10
vit – 1
int – 1
luk - 1

Leveling:

Now once you are an acolyte, equip your mace that they gave you at the novice zone, and go level on muka, 2 south of Morroc (or metalings, although they can kill you with a single hit if they use mammo on you) Spam those novice pots u got at the novice area for your first few kills, since with your very low hp 1 hit will hurt.

2x/1x Stats:

str – 30
agi – 9
dex – 20
vit – 1
int – 1
luk - 1

Skills:

- Divine Protection lv5
- Heal lv5 (lv10 if you have a shield with an enchanted peach tree card)

Leveling:

A few kills later u will be 20ish or so(on a 5x rate anyways) During this time, increase your str and dex stats to 50ish str(around 60 total with gears, job bonus, and bless) and dex to around 30(40 total with gears, job bonuses, and bless. As for skills, you get bless maxed first, then focus on a few points of heal(Level 4-5 will do for now, lv 10 if you have yourself a enchanted peach tree shield since its effect can save u a lot of sp with its autocast)

Once you reach level 27 or so, you can use a swordmace (or stunner) and if you do not have a fire swordmace/stunner, the npc version (sold in Morroc, south west area, slightly north of the corner of town) does the job. Continue with muka until you are able to easily kill them (2-3 shots each, around 85 hit with bless). If you are using a fire swordmace, you should (with bless) be damaging them for 350-400 dmg per hit. At around base level 40 you could move onto mosc and Lesavka (les on some servers, mavka on others, the weak ones in the first area, NOT the ones with the waterball spamming nasties in lv 3)

Base lv 40 suggested stats:

str – 50
agi – 9
dex – 30
vit – 1
int – 1
luk – 1

Skills:

- Divine Protection lv5
- Heal lv5 (lv10 if you have a shield with an enchanted peach tree card)
- Blessing lv10
- Increase Agi lv10

Leveling:

Once you make easy work of the muka, you can move on to Moscovia, and can start hunting les (which will also get you rich depending on your server) Muka cast envenom, which really isn’t much of a threat, but the poison effect stops all regeneration, and lowers your def. They also drop green herbs, so hot key one of them, and you should never have to worry about being poisoned. They also drop aloe leaflets which are VERY good healing items, so you shouldn’t have to use your sp to heal (save it for Bless and Agi up once u have that also)

You can quite easily, and quickly job 50 here. Do not Attack the Leshij at this point, since they have high defense, and hit REALLY hard and are only worth slightly more than the les themselves. They also like to spam heal everything around them, so if need be, lure les away from them before you kill them.

While here in mosc, save all your stems which you can later sell them to a biochemist/brewer for 2.5-5k per, which will more than be enough (after u job 50 yourself) to fund any future gear you may need.

Final Skills (in the order they should be obtained):

- Divine protection lv 5
- Heal lv5
- Blessing lv10
- Increase Agi lv10
- Heal lv10
- Demon Bane lv10
- Divine Protection lv9

At this point the order of which you max first (demon bane or divine protection) matters little, but u might choose to max Demon first if u want to go hunting undead before you’re a monk. Divine pro won’t help you much, if at all, since this build is going to be relying on agility and flee rather than vit and defense. You pick up the last point of this as your first job lv as monk.

65/50 suggested Stats:

str – 50
agi – 60
dex – 36
vit – 14
int – 12
luk – 1

Now once your job 50(I strongly suggest you go the long road and do NOT change pre job 50, you will need the extra skills later on) Go and become a monk.

Job change:

A simple trick (If u never did it as an aco) is to run back to the pront church, and talk to the fat guy near the girl that gives holy light plat skill, tell him to tell you more about being an acolyte, and he will offer to warp you to the monk job change area. Accept his offer for an easy trip.

RMS has a good guide on the main site under quests for the monk job change. Check this if you need help at this point.

- MONK -

Now your a new monk. You would have also gained a 3 slot knuckle duster as reward for being job 50 when u changed, which u can make use of, or continue to use the maces. Maces are nice because they do decent damage to large sized targets, while fists do 50% of normal. The downside is the abysmal atspd of maces.

Leveling:

As a new monk, you can head back to mosc and can stay there for as long as you wish, but I suggest u only stay here as long as u can manage it (at this point you would have been at mosc for some time, and this guide is about having fun, not grinding for hours at the same spot).

A few places I can suggest are Payon caves lv 3-4(munaks, sohees), mosc lv 1(les), ice caves lv 1(Siroma, if u have wind) Bibilan lv 4(swordfish, marc, beware swordfish’s waterball skill), Geffen dungeon lv 2-3(Try to get 180 flee or so first), mummies at pyramids, isis later on.

Skills you get as a monk are simple, since you avoid the combo skills. Basically get any skill you would use first before the others, and round out the rest as u go on. Job 50 is not too far off, so any order u choose to get the following skills will not harm your leveling options too much.

Lv 5 Iron fist

lv 5 call spirits

lv 1 absorb spirits

lv 5 dodge

lv 5 finger offensive/throw spirit spheres

lv 5 investigate/occult

Lv 3 critical explosion/fury

lv 5 asura strike

lv 5 bladestop

lv 1 Ruwach

lv 2 teleport

lv 4 warp portal

lv 1 pnenuma

With remaining points u can make use of cure and/or agi down. The skills listed before these are ones you would most likely abuse the most, and agi down and cure both have uses. (Although I don’t often find myself using either)

As far as stats are concerned, you continue beefing up agi until it sits at base 83. (With the pantie/undershirt set, and job 50 monk bonus, this will be a total of 107 agi) then continue with dex until it is at base 66(which with the monk bonus at job 50 would be a total of 80 dex) Together this agi and dex would give you 180 total atspd with awake pots and fists.(175 with maces) After this point u just pump str until level 99. (Will put you somewhere around 80-84 base str)

Gear is simple. A suggested list would be : (cheap and easy / ideal set)

Head, Top: Marionette / slot pirates with cramp or vanberk(Strongly suggest vanberk, since with 180 atspd, the random 100% crit is nice)

Head, Mid: Anything, or if rich, evil/angel wing ears(+1 str, +1 def) A blinker is also a good choice since blind can slaughter an agi build quite fast.

Head, Lower: Anything you fancy. I suggest gangster mask for the slight silence resistance. But really anything will do.

Armor: Pantie. Slot panties with marc, swordfish, sky deleter, etc also can be a nice bonus.

Garment : Undershirt. Slot undershirt with whisper, Kavach Icarus. Bapho Jr is also a nice alternate choice.

Shoes with zombie slaughterer, maytr, or sohee if u plan to use asura often. High quality sandals with similar cards can also do well if u can manage to get a pair or two.

Shield: Buckler with enchanted peach tree (When your attack with basic attack) or any of the -race damage modifiers if u plan to hunt a specific species.

Accessories: 1 ring and 1 blast clip will last you up and beyond 90 if you wish, and later on 2 mantis rings will do you until you trans.(And can be used later on when u 90+ champ)

As for weapons, a set of VVS fists(all 5, including a vvvs neutral for when u have a priest or sage along for the ride) a garm claw for its very high atk (Use with asps and/or endows for best effect) IF you are fighting medium or large sized mobs and/or u wish to abuse your skills more often, maces are most likely a better choice. A +9/10 chain with 3x race modifier cards is great for specific mobs, but I find a set of sword maces, While expensive to make/buy, are much more practical than carded chains, simply because the 4/5 sword maces you have can be used effectively against 95% of the mobs in the game, while a carded chain is only useful against a small selection. It is also of worth to note that if you are focused on small sized mobs, fists do 100% damage against them, so if you know what u are fighting, use
