SECTION 1: Magic Fundamentals

FIRE ELEMENT

Fire Bolt

Fire Bolt, while being extremely useful for leveling, is not a particularly useful skill outside of that. When used in conjunction with an Imp Card, it can be useful as a cast interruption or to dispatch of Undead Element Foes.

Fire Ball

I have never used this skill, even while leveling. I suppose it could be annoying to a distant precast, a well-aimed AoE spell would do a better job.

Fire Wall
Once again, it’s a skill that has it’s uses for PVM. WoE’s knockback immunity renders this skill useless.

Fire Pillar
Fire Pillar can be somewhat useful if you have enough time to put up a blockade. Although frowned-upon for the most part, it’s ability to stun-lock in place for a short duration of time can assist a Wizard while fleeing, or in conjunction with another player to exploit their moment of vulnerability.

Meteor Storm

Meteor Storm, the AoE that Stuns, Stacks, and does a decent amount of damage. Although the cast time for it is rather long, when used in conjunction with a Bard Class as well as large amounts of Dex can create a massive volley of fire damage. Meteor Storm has slight stun-lock capabilities with a chance to inflict the “Stun” Status Ailment. Amazing in a precast, or any other narrow area.

Sight Blaster

Sight Blaster is an amazing skill. When cast it circles a character much like sight. However, when any character (cloaked or uncloaked) enters it’s radius, they will be simultaneously revealed, pushed back, and inflicted with a low amount of fire-based damage. This ability can be followed-up with a debilitating spell to keep most Melee characters at bay. This buff should be kept up as much as possible, especially when Assassin Cross and Champions are present.

WATER ELEMENT

Cold Bolt

Cold Bolt, the not-quite-as-good-as-Firebolt. When paired with Siroma Cards, it can be useful for leveling. However, outside of that, it’s only real use is to interrupt people casting skills. Nothing really remarkable.

Frost Driver

Think of this as your rapid-fire skill. It’s irritatingly quick to cast, useful for interrupting cast times, as well as it’s relatively high freeze chance makes it a threat to the ill-prepared. Useful for when you can’t cast Storm Gust.

Water Ball

If there were more puddles of water laying around, or a Deluge Scholar/Water Escape Ninja to follow me around, maybe I’d give this skill a shot. Truth it, it’s a pain in the ass to use. It’s unfortunate, but true.

Frost Nova

Frost Nova is a skill I’d like to like, however, it isn’t useful. If you encounter a lot of melee units without freeze protection, you can use it to freeze the people attempting to break through your safety wall. Unfortunately, Storm Gust does a very good job of that.

Ice Wall

Ice Wall has it’s uses in PVM, which are quite obvious. Using it to block a passage, and cast spells over the other side of it to hit monsters that can’t hit you back, or just hiding from sight of a nearby MVP while your guild prepares to attack.

Storm Gust

Storm Gust is probably my favorite Wizard skill. Besides the damage and AOE properties of the spell, Storm Gust is guaranteed to freeze anything freezable after it’s third hit. Want to know if that person is wearing a Marc/Evil Druid? This is a great way to get your answer. At lower levels, Storm Gust still retains this property, while having a reduced cast time.

WIND ELEMENT

Lightning Bolt

There is no Accessory Card to improve this skill, and Jupital Thunder is better. Not commonly used.

Thunderstorm

Much like Fire Ball, I don’t find myself using this move. Ever.

Jupital Thunder

Jupital Thunder is a great move. It is Lightning Bolt with increased number of hits, added knockback, with a decent amount of stun-lock. It’s a good spell to use against single-target enemies.

Lord of Vermillion

The annoying AoE. Though not particularly powerful, it has the ability to stun-lock enemies to a noteworthy degree. It can have it’s uses, but generally is outshined by Storm Gust and Meteor Storm.

EARTH ELEMENT

Stone Curse

Stone Curse is your alternate to Frost Driver. Though this, too, is ineffective against undead foes, it can be used against players using Marc cards in it’s place.

Earth Spike

Earth Spike’s delay makes it an interesting tool against hide-dodgers. Though by no means a damaging spell, it is a must-have for any PVP combat situation.

Heaven’s Drive

It’s quick cast and ability to uncloak makes it very useful in battle scenarios. Once again, a must-have for combat!

Quagmire

Quagmire is a great spell, though it must be used with care. It cancels Attack Speed and Agility related buffs, as well as reducing Attack Speed, DEX, AGI, Walk Speed, and increases Cast Time for anyone standing in it. However, that literally means ANYONE, including you and your ally. Watch your placement!

GHOST ELEMENT

Napalm Beat

I don’t see any particular use for this, but it’s a multi-hit ghost element spell that does splash damage around the target. I mean… it interrupts, but it’s not too special.

Soul Strike

This could be thought of as “Ghost Bolt”. Though it’s not too useful, it has the uncanny ability to hit Evil Druid users really hard and really fast. It’s a fun, irritating spell.

Napalm Vulcan

Napalm Vulcan, while not being a particularly damaging spell, has the ability to “Curse” it’s target. This status can help make an extremely quick getaway, and is generally unpleasant to be affected by it.

DEFENSIVE/UTILITY SPELLS

Safety Wall

The best spell you’ve got, hands-down. Prevents 10 physical attacks on whatever is standing in it. Asura Strikes, Sonic Blows, Sacrifice, and Bowling Bashes are all rendered useless. Any time you cast an AoE spell, you better be standing in one of these babies.

Mystic Amplification

This buff will power-up for MAtk by 50% until you cast your next spell. However, that means ANY spell, even skills not meant to deal damage.

Energy Coat

Energy Coat is an amazing defensive buff. Being able to reduce damage in the place of SP is a unique trait that should be exploited in this class. Doesn’t matter how you’re playing, use the buff!

Monster Property

Though you can use it if you WANT, I’d just go to IROwiki or RateMyServer.Net.

Sight

Useful to keep up to uncloak enemies. Though not as useful as Sight Blaster, it doesn’t hurt to keep this buff up!

Magic Crasher

This is a really fun and unique spell. It converts your Matk to a single physical hit. Since the damage is physical, any weapon effects (including cards) are a potential effect of your spell. Because of it’s spamability, it’s the best skill for interrupting another person’s casting.

Gravitation

I’ve been reading on this skill, and though I don’t know if it truly has a
practical use, there seem to be a couple accounts of this skill having
some use. It doesn’t seem particularly useful to me at all.

Ganbantien

Ganbantien is a useful spell that can be used to clear the ground of hazards. This is used to punch holes in any AoE/Trap skills, though most commonly it’s used to cut holes in a Scholar’s Land Protector.

Passive Skills

Increase SP Recovery

When you’re training, obviously this can help you level a little faster. Outside of that, I don’t recommend this skill except for being a prerequisite.

Soul Drain

This skill works as a way of recharging your mana as you go, though AoE skills will not activate Soul Drain. Some people may prefer to put their skill points elsewhere, but the Max SP bonus obtained through this passive buff is really nice to have, though maybe not completely necessary. Distribute skill points with discretion.

Through knowing properties (and a little help from some friends) it’s possible to hit 200,400 or more damage. That’s just with a Cold Bolt!

Knowing how to inflict certain status ailments can make fighting much easier for any High Wizard. However, you may not always be able to freeze or stone curse an enemy. When this happens, it’s best to resort to a “Plan B”.

Quagmire is an excellent spell to use. It’s ability to slow down enemies can open a decent window of opportunity to lay a Safety Wall down. Since it cancels a Whitesmith’s “Cart Boost” you can also use this skill to temporarily incapacitate them. You should always be careful not to cast it over yourself unless completely necessary, as it will result in a slower walk speed and cast time.

Using Napalm Vulcan’s cursing ability can help you to cover some ground if you’re under attack. Once again, linking it up to Safety Wall or Quagmire is always a safe bet.

A commonly overlooked strategy lies in the spell “Magic Crasher”. As I had stated in it’s description, it has the ability to carry weapon properties into itself. This creates the potential to status opponents with a Knife [4] enchanted with the card of your choice. Multiple daggers can be carried to exploit any weakness.

Status Cards

Savage Babe Card – Inflicts [Stun] Status at 5% per card. [Useful]

Stun is great, since it incapacitates the enemy completely. No items, no moving, and no attacking make for a very easy battle.

Metaller Card – Inflicts [Silence] Status at 5% per card. [Useful]

If an opponant isn’t expecting it, hitting them with silence can wreck a bit of havok. Be wary of opponents using Green Potions or Royal Jelly!

Plankton Card – Inflicts [Sleep] Status at 5% per card. [So-So]

Sleep is a step down from stun. While it still has the same effect, the duration is ended upon receiving another hit. Use it if you don’t have Savage Babe Cards.

Magnolia Card – Inflicts [Curse] Status at 5% per card. [So-So]

Curse is fun for it’s ability to annoy, and to make a quick getaway. Tied in with Magic Crasher’s almost non-existent cast time, and it’s crazily short after-cast delay, it can be used to curse more efficiently than Napalm Vulcan.

Marina Card – Inflicts [Freeze] Status at 5% per card. [Not Useful]

I don’t see the purpose of using this when you have Frost Driver and Storm Gust.

Breeze Card – Inflicts [Bleeding] Status at 5% per card. [Not Useful]

Bleeding is just a poison that can kill you. Doesn’t incapacitate, doesn’t help.

Familiar Card – Inflicts [Blind] Status at 5% per card. [Not Useful]

Some players have removed the “blind” fading, thus making this effect useless.

Snake Card – Inflicts [Poison] Status at 5% per card. [Not Useful]

While it throws in some extra damage, the amount it does is so insignificant that you might get laughed at.

Requiem Card – Inflicts [Chaos] Status at 5% per card. [Unsure]

I’ve never tested the effects of Chaos cards. Though, it should be noted I’ve never SEEN them used, I can only guess it’s not particularly useful.

III. Strategies and Tips

Now that you’ve got an idea of how to increase damage, and the various uses of the spells at your disposal, we can begin discussing ways to integrate them into your play. Before you jump into combat, these are a few pointers to help you start strong.

• Guard yourself! Make sure to keep Energy Coat, Sight, and Sight Blaster up constantly. As soon as you stop moving, or if you know your destination, instantly drop a Safety Wall. With your low HP modifier, it is most certainly better safe than sorry.

• As soon as you set foot in a Safety Wall, cast Amplify Magic Power. You should be prepared to attack immediately. Covering yourself with yourself with level 1 Storm Gust can keep distance between you and opponents.

• When encountering the enemy, it is best to hit them with a Quagmire ASAP. Quagmire has no cast time and is a strong debuff. This can give you extra time to react, or flee if need be.

• Use low level, or fast-casting spells to interrupt enemy spell-casters. This can help make crucial openings in WoE and Battlegrounds.
• If an enemy is hide-dodging your spells, hit them with Earth Spike. Earth Spike will knock them out of hiding and do a small amount of damage.

• Do not forget to use Ganbantien to clear hazards such as Land Protector and Sniper Traps. Taking Land Protector out from beneath an opponent can be a deadly surprise!

• Estimate the amount of time an enemy remains frozen, and cast another Storm Gust before they thaw. If they do not swap armors, they will be left with insufficient time to heal.

IV. Research Resources

Obviously it takes more than just knowledge of your skills and well-placed clicks to do well as a High Wizard. A good portion of skill goes into constantly updating and tweaking your stats and equipment. Though this can be a daunting task at first, through using a few different calculators and databases you’ll find it’s not very hard at all. Here, I’ll list a couple of the resources I use most often.

• RateMyServer is a great choice, obviously. They’ve got a Renewal Search, as well as a Pre-Renewal for both monsters and items. You can also see the script for each item, making it possible to see if an item isn’t functioning correctly. I’m also absolutely in love with their search form. You can narrow down your search results with options like “Items that affect DEX”.
• IROwiki isn’t a bad place to go either. If it exists in the realm of RO, you can find it.
• IROwiki Character Simulator – This is used to simulate the gear on your character, buffs, etc. to see your stats were you to use the selected items. I believe this is the most updated version.

SECTION 2: The Pursuit of Knowledge

Now that we’ve made it through the basics, we can begin going in-depth on the math that goes behind a High Wizard. Here you will discover a few types of builds, what they’re like, and opening the potential to explore and improve your builds. We’ll also explore the items involved in getting your WoE/BG supplies, and some my recommendations/comments on commonly used equipment.

The first question this section seeks to answer is, “What am I attempting to do as a Wizard?”

II. Build Overview

So, we know what stats contribute to spells, how the spells are used, and by now, you’ve probably got an idea on what kind of wizard you want to make. This is where the fun really starts, and you being working on a build that is comfortable and productive. Let’s take a look at how each stat can be thought of for your character.

STRENGTH

Strength on a wizard isn’t particularly useful, since it’s only contribution is an increased weight limit. Use it for that, and that alone. Works as a decent dump stat.

AGILITY

Agility doesn’t have any real use to a High Wizard.

VITALITY

INTELLIGENCE

DEXTERITY

LUCK

First of all whats a guillotine Cross?

A Guillotine Cross is the 3rd job for the Assasin Job in Ragnarok Online it is one of the most versatile Jobs of all.
Now like most all of the jobs in ragnarok it also has its pros and cons .

Pros.
– GX Can dish out alot of damage and mostly one hit other classes such as Warlock/Sorcerer/Other GX and possibly Some Sura’s
– Flee is very high therefore Normal physical attacks will mostly miss on you. and with Hallucination walk your Flee can reach to a Ridiculous   amount.
– Very hard to catch because of Cloaking Exceed which now lets the Assasin Take 3 hits before it uncloaks

Cons.

-Durability against some magic attacks and Physical attacks will be hard with lack of skill.

-Not for PvM, if you are planning to PvM with this job dont bother.

-Most of its equipments will cost you.

Now Lets talk about the skills you are gonna need.

-Cross Impact

This skill lets is probably one of the most painful in terms of physical damage. its basically an upgraded sonic blow. which is highly spammable.

Tip: if you are planning to spam CI. you should practice the lord knights Bowling Bash Dance. CI works like that too. So now we have a Cross impact Dance

-Rolling Cutter and Cross Ripper slasher.

Now this will be your most devastating blow to the enemy.  Now if you cant kill your enemy with just CI spam. why not try 1 hitting him. Basically what you do is spin around 10 times then Decapitate that mofugga.

Tip: Dont Spin around Sura’s Cause they can easily use Cursed Circle and will put all your efforts to waste. Instead wait for them with your charges set to 10 and then click theyre dead.

Venom Impress

This skill Literally is like Lex but for poison.

Now for the stats.

Str 100~110 Main source of atk

Agi 100~110  Be sure to get lots of agi because it is the main factor for Cross Ripper Slasher your most Devastating Skill

Vit 70~90 Depends on your gear, Mostly for survivability purposes

Int (Rest goes here)
Dex 70~80 you will only be needing enough dex to hit your opponents and since you have Crit what for?

Luk 90~110 ABSOLUTELY depends up to you. This attribute will increase your pDodge therefore i suggest getting some to not get pwned by other GX’s

Equipment

Upper HG – +4~10 Large baphomet horns[0], +4~10 Feather Beret[0] , Beret[0]

Middle HG – Angel Ghost[0],Blush of Groom[0]  Or any HG within association with ATK/Reduce Demi

Lower HG – Pdagger[0], Gentlemans Pipe[0], Hankerchief in mouth[0]

Armor – +4~10 Valk Armor[1]

Garment – +4~10Diabolous Garment[1], +4~10 Nydhog Shadow Garb[1], +4~10 Valk Manteu

Shoes – Variant Shoes, +4~10 Diabolous Shoes[1], +4~10 Valk shoes[1]

Weapon – +4~15 Infiltrator[1] , +4~10 KVM Katar[0]

Shield – +4~10 Bradium Shield[1], +4~10 Valk Shield

Acce1 – Bradium Ring[1]

Acce2 – Bradium Ring[1]

Cards.

Upper Mid Low HG – None, But if you dont want to use my suggested gear and went on with something that has a slot use Maya Purple

Armor – Tao Gunka Card , Sealed Tao Gunka Card , Evil Druid Card, Pasana (PS : Only switch to Pasana When up against a DB type RK)

Garm – Raydric Card , Devilling Card ( PS: Only use Devilling Card when you see a Sura Casting Guillotine Fist on you)

Shoes- Matyr Card Card , Green Ferus Card

Shield – Thara Frog Card , Golden Thief Bug Card (PS: Only switch to GTB when you see a wiz casting Tetra on you)(PSS: Only switch to cranial when a Sura has you locked in Cursed Circle)

Weapon – Turtle General Card , Hydra Card

Acces1 & 2 – Gold Scaraba Card (+20 ATK   -1% HP)

Explanation for the gear.

Upper Mid Low HG –  Why so much with the anti demi human?Because Surviving is one of the factors to achieve victory in pvp

Dude Srysly you already dont have a shield and low HP pool.

Armor – The main objective hear is to not get your Armor broken( Valk Armor ) and also because TGK will be one of the things youll be thanking for surviving a Tiger cannon or Two. Reaching a high amount of HP for survivability is a must.

Shoes – Why the matyr card?  it gives you +1 agi and as i always say every stat point counts  ~ it also gives the same effect as a Ferus card

Shield – The whopping 30% reduce damage is very nice for when a sura has you locked in one of those Cursed circles. Or a GTB card whe nup against magic users.

Garm – Raydric card reduces damage from neutral attacks like Tiger cannon and Hundred Spear | I repeat only switch to devi when a sura is castng Asura strike on you.

Acce 1 & 2 – Gold scaraba card is very awesome. as it can drastically increase your damage output because of its +20 atk for each card. so thats +40 atk for you. and with a mere cost of -2% hp for when bot acce’s are equipped.

Weapon – Your main idea is to kill your enemies so Racial Cards all the way ~ BTW  Racial Cards affect all of the skills that i have mentioned.

Gameplay

This part is easy. Now always to remember to do all these things before going into action.

1. Always Have your Poison react, Enchant poison and Weapon Blocking Buffs UP as for it is very important in Dealing out damage and also Surviving.

2. Always use EDP and Venom Impress before you attack an enemy so that you can maximize your damage output on them.

3.Always Use Exceed Cloak and Backslide it can save your ass trust me.

4.Never take an Enemy too lightly because they might soon be your worst nightmare.

5.If you cant kill your enemy try to ask for striking buff from a sorcerer friend.

6.If you cant hit your enemy with Enchant poison buff UP . chances are hes wearing Evil Druid Card. so What you do then is Cloak then take off your weapon, then put in back on. the enchant poison buff should dissapear and you may now use converters to pwn his ass. i suggest using earth to surprise them. Wind is too common nowadays~

7. Reflect against RG? CRS his ass.  Defender? use Rolling cutter and outpot him. Defender&Reflect together? Rolling cutter while outpotting him then use CRS at the exact time when you hit 10 charges.

8. Millenium Shield? Pfft. We have Cross Impact dance ~ BREAK IT (PS: CI dance is exactly like Bowling Bash Dance LK)

9.Cursed circle? Equip a cranial then spam Backslide.

10.Frozen by a Warlock?  Lols switch to GTB Then when he uses tetra backslide then switch to Evil druid card and your weapon. then go for the kill.

11. Dragons breathe? Bitch please Pasana card ~

12.Vacuum by a Sorc? Bitch please Backslide ~

13.Gfist?  Bitch Please Devilling Card ~

14.Gate of Hell? Dont take any chances CRS any Sura as soon as you see them.

This is just a short introductory guide to playing the Assassin Cross class in RO. Leave me comments if this guide’s been helpful to you, if i get good ratings and good feedback, i’ll make a full guide w/ video demonstrations of the tricks i use (Frost Lock, 9 Hit SB, etc. etc.). Enjoy..

Vit Type SinX:

Well, for vit types — like me — who prefer to go with 1 on 1 matches and hard VIT can pretty much tank any job with the right gear switches. Going over the stats, i think it should be ,

Str: 140-150

Agi: 1

Vit:  100-110

Int: 1

Dex: What’s left of your stat points go here. If you’re playing in a farming server and you can’t quite get platinum skills for the SinX class, you’ll have to put less vit and get higher dex.

Luk: 1

Equipment:

Going over the equipment, the image tells you the equipment. That’s from a previous semi-low rate server w/out Gods and Godly cards (Thanatos, etc. etc.).

The rest of the switches for me are, another Proxy Skin Fragment with a Giant Whisper Card and another with deviling, a Diabolus Armor with Tao Gunka, a Valkyrja’s Armor with Ghostring and an Orleans Server with Maya Card ( Just in case you accidentally get hit 3 times by a wiz’s Storm Gust and forgot to switch to Unfrozen/Deadly armor. Of course it’s still a gamble whether they use Jupitel Thunder or play it safe and use Thunder Storm.  ). As for the weapons, the only 2 katars i user are, an  Infiltrator with Incantation Samurai Card and a Katar of Piercing Wind with 2 Hydras and 1 Phreeoni, then of course after casting Sonic Blow, i switch back to a Cranial Valkyrja’s Shield and a Combat Knife, and i pack any dagger with 4 slots and arm them with 4 Stormy Knight Cards.

Strategy:

Strategy should be more than obvious at this point. When you’re playing a 1 on 1 game against another SinX, the idea is to kill him with 1 hit of a Sonic Blow, which is VERY POSSIBLE by the way, even if he’s wearing a Combat Knife and Cranial Shield when you strike him. The idea is to SCAN his weak elemental resistance. The 5 core elements used MAINLY are, Wind, Earth, Fire, Poison and of course the Neutral element. Scanning isn’t hard or anything, seeing as to you have every element at your disposal ( Saying of course that the server you’re playing on provides them on NPC’s ) you can use a converter and hit him with normal attacks, to scan for poison, just hit him with an envenom. If it doesn’t miss, that’s a 85% possibility that he’s gonna die with 1 blow. Once you get the element that does the most damage to him, hit him with your damage katar ( Infiltrator w/ Incantation Samurai Card ) armed with that element. If you’re going against a flee type SinX, it should be obvious innit? The first thing to do is to wear your frost dagger ( Any Dagger w/ 4 Stormy Knight Cards ) and hit him with an envenom. If he freezes, he’s an idiot, if not, hit him away with your Hit Katar.  Hit him with your Hit Katar ( Katar of Piercing Wind w/ 2 Hydras and 1 Phreeoni Card ) armed with the element you want. Now, if by any chance you can’t kill that agi type SinX, that’s because he’s got upgraded equipment +10 and such or has high vit. Then, you’ll need another katar for that KOPW with 1 Hydra, 1 Inca, and 1 Phreeoni, or you could always change your stats to counter his ( Adding more dex ). For PVP, you basically try to freeze anyone you want to kill with Throw Venom Knife. If you can’t freeze em, hit away with a Sonic Blow armed with an element ( Try poison first :) ). Always remember that the switch sequence for PvPing is Frost Dagger -> Cranial V.Shield -> Combat Knife.

Tips and Tricks :

If you still can’t 1 hit him, i’ll give you a clue. Hit + SB + Switch ( To Cranial Shield and CK that is ).

If you can’t kill an LK or a Paladin even when you use the Sonic Blow Frost trick, you can do a frost lock on them ( Hitting tem without breaking the frozen status ). Same as above, Hit + SB + Switch ( To frost dagger that is, then Cranial Shield and CK).

Try to experiment with other builds, use elemental resistance potions to your advantage =)

Well, this is my first guide. I don’t like doing stuff like this. I only want to play and kick everyone’s asses  :)

Sorry for not having a guide for Agi Type’s, i really don’t play agi types because i love high HP’s and i like to use the SinX Class’ s superb ability to tank. Maybe next time :)

My build is mostly for PvPing and BG/Woe. By copying Flying Side Kick, Shield Chain or Shield Boomerang you can break emperium easily and you can do beautiful EC.

I think you can PvM and drop too. This build is based on a good Matk and medium-high Vit.

Let’s star with the stat :

Str : 29 to carry pots and conso

Agi : 2 the left point

Vit : 72 for a good survivability and to tank a little

Int : 70 for a good Matk to reflect good magic

Dex : 91 to full divest/strip

Luk : 1 none in my case

Now the gears :

Weapon : Cutter (2xPlankton & 2xMagnolia card) To statuse your opponents and full divest them

Elemental Sword (3xPitman card) Switch with this to deal good damage in reflect

Headgear : Top :  +4 Large Baphomet Horn [DEF] or +4 Feather Beret to survive longer than a poring when you are against a demi-human :lol:

Middle : Blush of Groom like the top

Lower : Gentleman Pipe like the top

Skill to copy : FSK (Flying Side Kick) from a Star Glad or Taekwon Boy, Shield Boomerang from a paladin or crusader, Shield Charge the same. These Skill are very good to break emp and statuse your opponents.

Strategies :

I’ve never fought 1 class by 1 class, all the time I fight all classes at the same time in Battle Ground so I haven’t a very good strategy. But there is a good tip : Use your copied skill on an enemy to statuse him and strip. Then Let your team kill him or them (in WOE or BG). After that, chain (with your copied the skill) the emp. It’s like that we always win in BG. In our team we always are 2 or 3 stalkers. (I play on a french Server)

A. Survival
Things you need to carry during WoE:

Ygg berries ( need alot )/Pots

B. Breaking The Emperium
When your near it, use Cursed Water immediately and EDP and attack the emperium . always spam ygg berry/pots if lot of defenders attacking you, dont forget to use Elemental Scrolls for less damage taken from enemies.

7. Reconnecting ( For Soloist )

For those soloist breaking the emperium, after breaking it. relog ASAP becasuse your just solo you cant defend your emperium against a Guild with 10+ members, just wait until its been broke by the other guild then break again.

8. Last Minute break and Hostage Emp

Last Minute Break is the final strike of all guilds and soloist, they’ll rush in to the emp room for the last 1~1:30 minutes breaking the emp before the WoE ends.

Hostage Emp( Works when your Guild has 20+ members online during WoE )

The Guild Leader Commands all the members to kill of enemies on sight, but not breaking the emperium.They’ll Break it in exactly 30 sec ~ 1 min before the WoE Ends.

ps: this is not “my guide”, i have just made some changes so it fits more servers.

As the title above, i want to share my build for PvP/WoE sonic blow assassin cross.

This type of sinX is one of the most popular build, due to its ability to 1 hit kill other jobs with sonic blow+EDP.

No AGI, no LUK, no INT? Yes, because i think AGI, LUK, and INT won’t give significant effect to SB, altough LUK will you extra damage. But sometimes i found pure sonic blow sinX using agi, with the build like i have mentioned above, but they use agi and let the vit 1.

Skill build :

Sonic Blow is a katar based skill, so make sure you’ve maxed out all katar skills. and maxed out Sonic Blow of course. Other important skills of course CDP and EDP. Supportive skills also important : cloaking, enchant poison, and thief skils : backslide, very useful to run away after SB, and hiding, which is very useful when you combine it with grimtooth. Soul destroyer also a good choice, altough you have little INT, it still do some nice damage.

Important skills : Katar Mastery, Advanced Katar Research, Sonic Blow, Grimtooth, Create Deadly Potion, Enchant Deadly Potion, Cloaking, Soul Destroyer, and (maybe) Meteor Assault.

Supporting skills : Hiding, Backslide, Enchant Poison

IMHO, for the Attacking set, you don’t need to have high + equipments except the weapons (>=+7 is a must), because after SB ing, backsliding and hiding again will be great action to wait the chance to kill your next victim. So, high def is not really important in this set.

With high VIT and this Defensive set, assassin cross can survive longer in PvP / WoE. It also good to combine the Attacking and Defensive set. Put shield and defensive dagger (CK, CB, or Asn Dagger) on the hotkeys, and use Cranial swapping technique. After SB-ing your enemy, ASAP swap your katar with your cranial shield and defensive dagger (it will result a SB with a dagger in the animation). You won’t die easily if someone hit you after SB, and you have enough time to backslide, hide, and heal yourself.

Most of all this guide is built for your preparation on Rune Knight Job.

I have here the hybrid build which is common nowadays but different skill and stats set.

i build this guide coz i am very confused before on what kind of build that i need to use..

thanks to myself and to that confusion coz here’s my “Other Hybrid BUILD”

All of you know that the main function of a High Priest is to provide buffs and Heal, as well as to support your party in general. However, in WoE SE, if you’re in a decent guild that knows what it’s doing, your job is going to be reduced to just buffing your team. Yes, no Heal, no Safety Wall, no Magnificat, no Gloria, nothing. Just pure Blessing and Increase Agi with Pneuma and Lex Aeterna thrown in every once in a while. As such, you’re not going to have high Int.

Stats:

Str: 20~30 base

Agi: leftovers

Vit: enough to get 90 Vit in total

Int: 1

Dex: 99

Luk: 1

Okay, so you’re going to ask: why so much Agi, and so little Int? Well, since you’re not Healing, the only reason to have Int is for SP pool. You’re going to be carrying Blue Pots, thus removing the need for Int. If your server doesn’t have @storage, you’re going to need to have more Int then but keep it minimal. As for your Agi, you need it for more attack speed (ASPD). If you don’t understand the mechanics of ASPD, I’ll start explaining it but if you already understand it, you can skip to the next section on Equipment. Anyway, ASPD determines how fast you attack per minute: a 99/70 Priest will like to have 159ish ASPD with a Concentration Potion. That means 60 attacks per minute. With more Agi, you can attack more times; 190 ASPD allows you to hit for 300 times a minute which means around 5 times per second.

What you probably don’t know is that your skills are affected in the same way too. Let’s take Blessing for example. Blessing has no cast time nor cast delay so with 190 ASPD, you’ll like to be able to Bless 5 times a second if you can click fast enough and have good ping (Internet connection stuff; go Google it). However, if you’re a regular Priest with ~159 ASPD, no matter how you try, you can only Bless a person about once per second (60 times a minute, see?). However, for skills with cast time/delay, you can’t spam them even with 190 ASPD. Take Heal for example. Heal has no cast time but has a 1 second delay so no matter what your ASPD is, you can only use it 60 times per minute. Now imagine if your delay was reduced (standing in Bragi, for example), with 190ASPD, you can spam it more times per minute (depending on how good your Bragi is). If your delay is completely removed, you can Heal 300 times a minute! Cool, hm? Go try it and see for yourself.

Oh, and make sure you take +7 Dex, Agi, and Vit foods to reach 97 Vit. That gives you Stun immunity. The other foods are self-explanatory. If, for any reason, you find it difficult to get such foods, you can tweak your build to reach 97 Vit.

Equipment:

Upper Headgear: Feather Beret/Large Baphomet Horns with +1 Dex/Vit hidden enchant, if your server has it

Mid Headgear: Sunglasses [1] with a Nightmare card

Lower Headgear: Gentleman’s Pipe or whatever

Armor: Medic’s Robe or Diablos Robe with Marc/Evil Druid card and +3 Dex/Vit enchant, if your server has it

Shield: Valkyrja’s Shield with a Horn card

Weapon: Speedy Recovery Wand or go bare-handed for more ASPD.

Footgear:Combat Boots or Diablos Boots if you can get it. Slot a Green Ferus card in them.

Garment: Commander’s Manteau or Proxy Skin Fragment with a Noxious card.

Accessory: 2x Orlean’s Gloves with Zerom card

*at least 1 Diablos Ring swap with Alligator card

*1 more accessory with Smokie card (Orlean’s is the best)

Explanation of equipment:

*I’ll post alternative equipment below

**You must have a +7 or better Staff of Recovery

Now, you must be wondering why you need all these stuff for. The Feather Beret is obvious, the Nightmare card is to prevent the Sleep status because you have low Int. Low Int=less Sleep resistance. Armor is Medic’s Robe because it has 0 weight and gives Demi Human resistance. Plus, if you’re using the BG set, it gives you nice bonuses as well. I highly recommend the Diablos Robe, though, because it has even nicer bonuses (-skill delay, +Heal effectiveness) .

Garment can be the BG set or a Proxy, which I recommend over the BG set because it gives you more resistance overall. Boots are also BG set or the Diablos Boots (which are better) because the BG boots are only useful if you use the entire BG set. You don’t need a Thara Frog card in your shield because you’ll most likely be hit by magic or long ranged attacks (which includes magic); SinXes are outdated in WoE:SE and if your guild is competent, no melee attackers will get anywhere near all of you. Valkyrie Shield is best as it gives the most resistance (Orlean’s Server is okay, but loses to V.Shield anytime, any day).

Accessories…this is the tough part. Your guild leader may require you to cast Sanctuary over your castle’s barricades (read up the WoE:SE guide if you don’t know what this is) so you need your Staff of Recovery+Diablos Rings+Diablos Armor/BG set to maximise Sanctuary’s effectiveness. No, you won’t be asked to Heal each individual barricade so Int is still not needed since Sanctuary isn’t affected by Int anyway. The Smokie card is there in case you misclick and become exposed, so Hide and try to sneak back into your guild formation (more on this later). The weapon is optional; have one if you must, but I prefer to go bare-handed as I can dish out more skills per minute; Staves/Staffs have horrible ASPD.

Role as a HP:

Now, your role as a HP is to rebuff the DPS (damage per second) classes such as Creators and High Wizards. You should know how WoE:SE works by now; if you don’t, here’s an overview: Creators make up frontline, Wizards second, Clowns third, support classes and the rest behind.

Here’s a screenie of my guild; we’re practicing getting into formation and we’re still halfway to completion so it’s quite an ugly stack, but the general idea is there:

If you look at it from right to left, you’ll sort of notice that Creators are in front. Then look at this:

to see that high Vit classes are stacked at the back so as to put some distance between themselves and enemy Creators. The front line Creators and High Wizards wil be constantly Dispelled, which makes them almost useless so it’s your job to rebuff them. Bless, Agi, and Kyrie will do. If you had taken a look at my screen shots, you’ll notice that I have my party window open, as well as two separate chat windows. One is for communication, whereby you can see what your team mates are saying, etc. The other is purely for buffing purposes; when you see a string of red lines coming up, you’ll know that someone has been Dispelled and you must find him/her in your party window and buff them immediately. If there are none too many HPs in your guild and you find yourself overloaded with party members (like me), you’re likely to be kept constantly busy trying to buff your teammates. Also try to look out for opponent guild members who stray out of formation and spam Lex on them until they drop. Don’t be trigger happy though; wait until they’re in your range before you Lex them or you’ll run out automatically and perhaps end up being a target for Acid Bombs.

You must stand out of reach of enemy Creators at all times as you are likely to drop within 2 seconds with your high Vit, so stay away. Your team will be covered by Land Protector all the time, so Pneuma won’t save your butt. Don’t bother Decrease Agi-ing enemies; they’ll have a HP in their guild to rebuff them. Only do it if the other guild is obviously wiping (losing). Also, don’t ignore your other teammates who are not getting Dispelled; refresh their buffs if you aren’t buffing the DPS classes. As for those who aren’t in your party, you may need to friend them in case their HP gets wiped. They’ll then use “/hi buffs pls” to alert you if they need buffs. Those who are already in your party should be removed from your friend list to shorten it; if they get Dispelled, your chat window will tell you. In fact, tell your guild mates to friend you if needed, and tell them to spam /hi three times, no more and no less to alert you.

Well…that’s about it I suppose. I don’t know right now if I forgot anything; if I had then I’ll add it in later. I hope this guide helps you to understand the workings of WoE:SE; good luck and have fun with your guild! Cheers!

Right.  Alternative gears in case you can’t get the ones I mentioned above. You have to read the guide first to understand what is needed of you, then get the gears as required. So here goes:

Headgear: Beret/Poopoo Hat. I don’t see why you can’t get a Feather Beret (at least), but oh well.

Armor: Saint’s Robe or Silk Robe. These don’t give any bonuses apart from the MDef, but oh well. They give decent enough resistance.

Garment and Footgear: Wool Scarf+Tidal Shoes. These shouldn’t be too hard to get I suppose. You could also go for Vital Tree Shoes and use some other garment if you want. Any garment will do, but Wool Scarf is decent.

Accessory: Rosaries, Glove [1]. Very basic equipment that isn’t too hard to get if you don’t mind grinding.

Weapon: I believe you won’t have a problem with this as you’re either go bare-handed or with a Staff of Recovery, which you can get from killing a few Anubises.

Shield: Orlean’s Server or anything with a slot. If you don’t have a Valkyrie Shield, then you’re screwed no matter which shield you use anyway.

Skills:

I don’t think this is very important because you won’t need too many skills for WoE:SE, but you need Safety Wall (just in case of emergencies), Warp Portal, Pneuma, Ruwach (keep it up at all times), Sanctuary at level 7 at least, Recovery, and Suffragium (you won’t use it often). You don’t need Gloria, Magnificat (you and your guild will most likely be [should be, in fact] overweight so no SP/HP recovery), Turn Undead, Lex Divina, Angelus, Mace Mastery, or Mana Recharge. You should get Assumptio to level 5 and a bit of Meditatio because it adds to your SP pool.

This is the second part of my lord knight build guide.  for those who love bowling bash skill read my discussion first before some lunatic judge my guide.  I am not considering my self the best lord knight in Ragnarok Online but i want to prove to anyone that lord knight has the ability to maximize its damage output and kill anyone with ease by using bowling bash skill.

Thanks to those who inspire me to do this guide and hope my guide  help  to anyone who wants to become a lord knight.  all data here is based on my SAVD lord knight in valkyrie server.  take note that ghostring, orc lord, orc hero and taugunka boss card does not exist in our server..

Name: Lord Goriotep 99/70 SAVD Bowling Bash Build

Server: PRO [VALKYRIE]

Stat:

str 96

agi 50

vit 70 ++++++++++ [ lord knight exists because of two reasons, to be a tanker and damage dealer ]

int 1

dex 50

luk 1

stat explanation – we all know there’s  numerous  build for an LK.

SVD[ str vit dex ]  which give durability and versatility  and sky high HP.

SAL[ str agi luk ] which give crit luk to enemy. and other builds such as pure spiral, 1 hand sword and spear LK..

Combining the best of both worlds of SVD and SA except LUK, the SAVD-type offers better versatility at least on my mind =).

LORD KNIGHTS–> The Lord Knight’s skills are a good balance of offense and defense

–>    can achieve 190atpsd easily. [ agi=1.. berserk pots+ two hand quicken + berserk skill]

–>( variety, numerous build) pure bowling, pure spiral and bowling spiral

–> highest HP modifier in game

Recommended equips:

headgear: Large baphoment horn, baphomet horn, hockey mask, Blush of groom,

armor : Deadly valk armor, diabolous armor

shield cranial: VAlk shield, stone buckler

weapon:combat knife/+7-9 tens[3] 1 hydra 2 2 sword guardian card

1hand glorious spear/ 1 hand BG sword/+10[4] carded blade

and my all time favorite two hand sword = EXECUTIONER[1][0]

garment: +7-10 immune/deviant valk mant

shoes  variant

accesories 2 pcs medal of honor, clip of mustle

equipment set:  the best gears for an LK>>high upgrades of GLORIOUS SET, VALK SET DIABOLOUS SET tidal/wool combo

(or you could just take 5 points from pierce and place them at sword mastery to increase damage of 1 hand sword)

PVP TACTICS AND TIPS

first of all LEARN THE BOWLING BASH DANCE..

where you can learn how to perform it. it has the ability to cast bowling bash twice in a second that mades bowling bash powerful skill unlike  spiral pierce which depends on weapons weight..

Vs palladin

Obviously they hurt themselves. all you have to do is tank their sacri/rs damage and give them the best fight.you can use berserk skill IF you notice that your damage has an average output of 1k-1.5k per hit.we all know that paladin are the best tanker among all job in ragnarok  but for a lord knight which has a powerful skills and good equipment  anyone on his path will surely die =)

Vs Sniper

Kill him/her before he set  combo traps .. use charge attack +bowling bash combo

Vs Champion

All you have to do is observe their casting time.. if he/she cast too slow he has a powerful damage and both of you will surely die.. try to bash them first using  executioner with two hand quicken and wait for the STUN effect.  if its fail try to tank their asura and make sure after receiving damage  from  EF chase them with your DANCE bowling bash

BE wise when killing champ. dec agi slow your attack speed.  just use BERSERK skill wisely.

Vs Assasin Cross

This one is my favorite target. when you and sinx start to fight all you can see on your screen is bloodshed. kill him first before he kills you =)

Vs High Wizard

Use unfrozen/ deadly valk armor or switch to elemental armor such as wind armor so that the jupitel thunder damage will reduce. for me HW is a mob damage dealer. some HW are very experienced in pvp they set  combos like sniper. storm gust hurt as hell so try to tank its damage while attacking them.also try to stun +bowling bash them.

Vs Party

All i can say is enjoy it . tank their damage and attack them kill them nasty and quick.  LOL

Vs Other job…

Use both def set and attack set on every situation. acid bomb hurt as hell just make sure you kill him and prevent him to cast acid bomb. same to other jobs make sure you kill him first before he  kills you.
