The first thing you should do on any server is make 3 characters:
Hunting character - Hunter or Assassin (Sin is great because they get the skill Steal.)
Money character - Merchant (get the skills Vending, Overcharge, and Discount.)
Slave character - Priest (if you can run multiple clients at once, make sure to make this on a seperate account.)
Use the hunting character to get the gear you need and hunt valuable items. Use the slave to buff the hunting character. Use the Merchant to overcharge all your drops, to buy potions at a discount, and to vend Cards.
The Following is a listing of ways to make money in RO. There are many ways, these are just 5 ways off the top of my head. They are listed from easiest to hardest.

1) Smokie Drops

This is for low level money making. Use Fire element against Smokies. Keep the Kitty Bands and Smokie Cards, and Overcharge the rest of the drops with your Merchant. Kitty Band is used to make Bunny Band and Black Cat Ears. It can sell for a lot of zeni when vended. Smokie Card gives the skill Hide and can also sell for a lot when vended. Check the market before vending anything.
2) Witherless Roses
Witherless Roses drop at a fair rate. It takes some patience, but each rose is worth alot of money.
Wild Rose drops Witherless Roses at 0.5% on a 1x server. Use Earth arrows vs. Wild Rose. Sell the roses with Overcharge on your merchant.

Mavka drops Witherless Rose at 3% rate on a 1x server (only if your server has Moscovia Dungeon). Use Fire arrows vs. Mavka. Sell the roses with Overcharge on your merchant.

3) Juperos Drops
Venatu drop: (based on a 1x server rate)

Use Overcharge and sell all drops. Venatu cards are practically worthless, so you might as well sell those. The most efficient way to hunt them is to use an Assassin with Grimtooth. Gather a mob and then hide and Grimtooth away, make sure to have high flee and high strength.
4) Royal Jellies
Royal Jelly drops at a high rate. You can use Steal to increase the drop rates of the 100% drops.
Gonryun Dungeon is a great place to hunt Royal Jelly and the other drops there are worth good money also.
Hunt Enchanted Peach Trees, and Bloody Butterflies and then sell all the drops with overcharge on your merchant.

5) Leeching
To leech others, you will need to make a Stargladiator devoted to leeching characters at Thors. Stargladiators are great for PvM. See the Cuddly Stargladiator Guide to Thors (once it has been published) for the build, gear, and mechanics of leeching. Use your hunting character to get the appropriate gear, and then level your Stargladiator with the Leveling Guide (treat a Starglad like a Merchant or Swordsman for leveling purposes).

u 4got another way geffenia with the buff slave u can use ur overcharge slave if its a whitesmith to kill incubus and succubus for diamond, gold, and silver rings. the buff slave can asperio the whitesmith and the whitesmith can 2 hit them with CT if they have a ice pick

I left out Geffenia because servers without a Dungeon Warper would have a tough time getting there.
I do agree though. Geffenia is another great way to rake in the dough. I know some SinX and Champs that hunt there to make money also. (The Champs hunt Abysmal Knights, sell all drops and save the cards.) Hunting with a champ only works if you have dungeon warper and healer though.

just go to abbey and hunt for lbw, wool, or tidal while leveling a whitesmith or hwiz then make a +7 or +9 for lbw. sell it. done.

Its better for me for hunting Gokurin then sell overcharge to npc…

Mimic card is rentable. It can permit you to drop an Old Blue Bow which sell for 5k (with each kill it give a chance)
Then you’re going to the seals, and do a mobtrain. AoE, and autoloot, that’s a perfect way of earning.

i think better if u go and hunt for the buster and sell it also can …

The way that i use is a sniper (with a bow with 2kaho, card,2 mimic card in gloves, ulles cap with mist case card)
-I go hunting in gongrun donjon (enchanted peach).
-I was able to drop some old blue boxes, gift boxes and royal jelly.
-In a server 10/10/10 I was able to make 1M in less than 15 min without selling old blue boxes and gift boxes.
-the boxes can be sold at higher prices by setting a shop
-I usually open them, gold sells good and maby one day you’ll get an emperium anvil and thats cost a lot !!!!
